In what looks to be more of a false charge than anything else, the cow elk takes off after the runner as he passes quite close to the onlooking elk.

This is just yet another in a string of incidents happening in the west during this year’s calving season. In case you didn’t get the memo, the National Park Service and wildlife managers everywhere are asking everyone to leave the wildlife the f**k alone.
