Alex Figueroa was taking his morning stroll when he witnessed something he will likely not soon forget. Walking in the Circle B Bar Reserve near Lakeland, Florida, Figueroa witnessed a large 11 or 12 foot alligator consuming another smaller alligator it has presumably killed earlier.
Apparently this is nothing new for these bad-ass reptiles.
“It’s typical alligator behavior,” Florida Fish and Wildlife officer Gary Morse told WTVT. “They are cannibalistic at times.”
