Well it happened again. Another Yellowstone visitor got a little to close for comfort to an elk and it was recorded on video.
Jody Tibbitts, the man who first captured our attention with footage of a massive bull elk, managed to capture this exchange on video as he persistently warned the woman to keep her distance from the elk. As she got too close for the animal’s liking, it charged her, leaving her flat on her back. She quickly retreated back to her vehicle with one valuable lesson many more ought to learn.
“That won’t happen again,” she says in the video.
Wild animals deserve a great deal of respect and that coincides with their personal space.
