Fawn Rescued from Sewer by New Jersey Police Officer

majak-with-deer

Affectionately referred to now as the “deer whisperer”, veteran officer Tim Majak rescued his third deer while on patrol Wednesday afternoon, this time a small fawn that had fallen into a sewer drain.

After receiving a call from local residents about a deer stuck in a sewer, the Woodbridge Police Department had just the man for the job.  After removing a portion of the grate, Majak climbed in and nabbed the distressed fawn, carrying the animal to safety.

Previously, Majak made headlines for rescuing a young buck that had become entangled in a soccer net as well as rescuing another buck while off duty entangled in some netting surrounding a local basketball court.
