In case you’re feeling extra blackhearted this week, here’s a feel good story to send you on your way.
With the camera rolling, a Long Island family was recording a newly-born fawn stumbling around their swimming pool earlier this week. To the dismay of the excitable onlookers, the fawn zigged when she should have zagged and ended up flailing in the family’s swimming pool.

As his father continued to roll, 12-year-old Anthony Masaitis rushed to the rescue, plucking the yougn fawn not once, but twice from its eventual watery demise.
The family released the fawn into the woods behin their home where they believe it has since been reunited with its mother.
