Wisconsin Governor Makes It Official: Fluorescent Pink is a Legal Hunting Color

The governor of Wisconsin signed a bill that would allow hunters to wear fluorescent pink instead of the traditional blaze orange, previously required for hunters in the state.

Governor Scott Walker and other supporters of the bill are hopeful this new legislation will not only spur the state’s economy, but many hope this will nudge more females into the sport of hunting.

Despite the diplomacy of the bill, it has been met with skeptics along the way, as many female hunters believe passing the law is downright sexist.

The state of Colorado is also mulling over the idea of following this pink trend.
