Video: Yes, You Can Start a Fire with a Lemon

lemon-starting-a-fire

The folks at North Survival posted a video last week demonstrating the firepower of…a lemon.

Using just six copper clips, six nails, a piece of wire and steel wool, the young man in the video used the electricity created from the lemon to heat the steel wool hot enough to eventually start a small fire.

“This is an awesome survival tip that you don´t want to miss,” he said.

Awesome? Sure.

If I happen to be carrying around a lemon, copper clips, nails, wire and steel wool while hacking through the bush.
