When it comes to cooking almost anything, simplicity is always nice.  While we all certainly appreciate the opportunity to try new and challenging recipes, when it comes to deciding on what’s to eat in a pinch, readily available ingredients and a simple process makes cooking up dinner or a snack a cinch.

This week’s recipe is all those things and can be prepared in as little as 15 minutes, but who’s counting.  Introducing easy, effective and utterly edible Venison Meatball Skewers.

  1. Throw your ground meat into a bowl.
  2. Add your chopped green or red onion, whichever you prefer.
  3. Sprinkle in some salt and pepper
  4. Throw in a dash of cajun spice or seasoning
  5. Add one whole egg (none of this egg white nonsense)
  6. Add a dash of Worcestershire Sauce
  7. Get your hands in there and mix it up
  8. Form your meatballs.  Don’t go too big, remember, these are going on a stick.
  9. Build your skewers with the meatballs and your favorite grillable vegetables.
  10. Fire up the grill.
  11. Brush your skewers with olive oil.
  12. Introduce your skewers to your BBQ.
  13. Turn often, keep on medium to low heat and brush with additional olive oil periodically.
  14. Serve with cold beer and a side of your choosing.
