Minnesota Police Officer Hits Deer While Traveling at 114 MPH

Ahead of the gun season in Minnesota, a sheriff’s deputy with the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office was responding to a call when he suddenly struck a whitetail deer on a secluded stretch of highway.

According to reports, the officer was responding to a call about a man with a gun inside a local restaurant and after the collision is lucky to be alive.

His Dodge Charger suffered serious damage in the crash including a smashed windshield, bent bumper guard and smoking hot engine.
