Kelowna Man Rescues Calf Moose, Gets Chased

After attempting to jump a fence, a calf moose in Kelowna, British Columbia got her hind leg caught in the fence.

The video depicts Kelowna resident Marc Schoene approaching the trapped moose and eventually freeing the animal from the fence with a set of cutters.  What Marc did not expect was that after freeing the moose, she then turned her attention to her rescuer.  After being freed, the ground-placed camera depicts Marc retreating from the scene with the moose in pursuit.

Marc stated that the moose came after him and was able to hit him in his back and shoulders with her hooves, she did eventually retreat, jumping over a few more fences and into an open area.
