Winchester Ammunition, now celebrating their 150th anniversary has released an innovative tool to help turkey hunters better identify the right shotshell and pattern before they ahead afield this spring chasing gobblers.
Released in April of 2015, the Winchester Pattern Board combines over 3,500 trigger pulls and actual targets shot to illustrate exactly what your pattern will look like. The easy-to-use-interface allows you to choose gauge, pellet size, shell length, choke constriction, brand of ammunition (all Winchester, of course) and adjustable distance settings.
The software allows users to save any patterns they shoot, allowing them to refer to them at a later point, or to compare to a variety of other patterns they have tried.
Users can also browse the selection for trending patterns, those used most widely in the Winchester community to better help them identify the very best shot for their gobbler this spring.
