Well its official, the Robertson’s have spoken.

Presidential hopeful Ted Cruz went on a duck hunt with the patriarch of the Robertson clan, Phil Robertson last week. A video produced by the pair was released as part of Cruz’s campaign, in which the Duck Dynasty star announced he was in fact, voting for Cruz.

“Ted Cruz is my man, I’m voting for him,” Robertson said.

Ted Cruz later told Fox News that he couldn’t be happier having the Robertson’s behind him in his run for the republican nomination.

“I am thrilled to have Phil’s support for our campaign,” Cruz said. “The Robertson’s are a strong family of great Christian faith and conservative values.”

He went on to pay homage to Phil’s road to success, which as most are, was a bumpy one at times.

“Phil’s story of starting off with something small and working hard to achieve the American dream is inspiring,” Cruz said. “Much like my parents, and many other Americans, who started a small business and worked hard to provide for our family.”

The Cruz camp stated that they are also slated to spend about $700, 000 to air a gun-friendly ad during this weekend’s NFL conference championship games.
