Missouri’s Late Youth Hunting Season Ends with Stellar Results

The second portion of Missouri’s youth deer hunting season yielded some fantastic results in early 2016. Deer hunters between the ages of 6 and 15 years of age bagged 2,520 deer during the second half of the season, a number that is more than double that of last year’s numbers. The Missouri Department of Conservation reported that youth hunters killed a combined total of 16,615 deer during the entire season. Province Proposed Wolf Hunting with No Limits in British Columbia’s Peace Region

As of this publication, hunters in the Peace Region of British Columbia are only able to take three wolves per year, but the province’s Ministry of Forestry, Lands and Natural Resource Operations in proposing a change. On November 30, 2015, the proposed change that would remove limits from wolf hunting in the area was proposed online. Ministry reports reveal that approximately 275 wolves were taken annually by hunters in the region between 2000 and 2010, equating to about 14% of the local population.
